Good News for Engineers!

Are you an Engineer looking for Permanent Residency in Australia? Struggling with that IELTS test? This information might be for you.

Here is great news for you!

As you may be aware, it is a requirement from Engineers Australia to provide evidence of Competent English for a Migration Skills Assessment

Previously, IELTS and TOEFL test results have been the only ones acceptable for this process.

However, from 1 November 2017, Engineers Australia will also accept PTE Academic for the purposes of a skills assessment for migration.

The following table indicates the minimal scores for each module:

IELTS [Competent or Academic] TOEFL iBT PTE ACADEMIC
READING 6 13 50
WRITING 6 21 50
SPEAKING 6 18 50
